This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the RelHose service during its beta phase, available only in India. It governs the collection, use, storage, and sharing of information provided by you or collected automatically through your interaction with the App.

2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information to provide, personalize, and improve our Services:
(a) Account Creation and Registration
- Email Address and Password: Required to create and secure your account. Passwords are encrypted using industry-standard protocols.
- Confirm Password: Ensures accuracy during registration.
- Country and Location: Automatically detected or manually entered to enable location-based features and analytics.
- Gender: Used for personalization and improving service insights.
- Date of Birth (DOB): Collected to verify that users are 16 years or older, with a default value set to “2009-01-01” for system purposes.
- Username: Auto-generated to maintain consistent user records. Users cannot edit usernames to ensure data integrity.
- JWT Authentication Token: Generated to securely manage login sessions.
(b) Login and Password Recovery
- Login: Requires your email and password.
- Password Recovery: If you forget your password, you may reset it via:
- An email with a secure reset link.
- A one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered email or mobile number, allowing you to create a new password.
(c) Channel Creation
- Brand/Channel Name: The name of your channel.
- Channel ID: Auto-suggested based on the brand name but can be manually customized.
- Banner Image: Uploaded to represent your channel.
- Mobile Number: Used for verification and communication.
- State and City/Nearby City: For location-based personalization and analytics.
- Date of Birth: Re-verified to ensure compliance with the minimum age requirement (16+).
- Metadata: Channel creation date and creator’s location may be publicly displayed for transparency.
(d) User Content
- Videos and Clips (Reels): Including title, description, thumbnail, duration, visibility settings, and scheduled posting time.
- Third-Party Links in Descriptions: If a description contains third-party links, we display a confirmation prompt (“Are you sure?”) with Yes/No options to protect users from unintended redirections.
(e) Engagement and Interaction Data
- Subscriptions: Which channels you subscribe to and the timestamp of your subscription.
- Likes, Shares, Saves, and Reports: User interactions with videos or clips.
- Views: Recorded with associated IP addresses to monitor engagement and prevent abuse.
- Total Content Views: Aggregated views for videos and clips displayed publicly on your channel page.
(f) Comments
- Comment Data: Includes comment text, creation timestamp, and edit timestamp if modified.
- Retention Policy: Comments are treated as temporary data. After nine months from creation, comment text and related details are automatically deleted from our database. Only an aggregate comment count linked to the video is retained for lifetime metrics.
(g) Notifications
- We send notifications via email or SMS for:
- Channel creation confirmation.
- Important account updates or service-related communications.
(h) Device and Media Permissions
- Gallery Access: Requested to allow uploads of videos, clips, or thumbnails from your device.
- Location Access: Requested to provide location-based features and enhance user experience.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process your information for the following lawful purposes:
- Account Management: To create, secure, and manage your account and authenticate users via JWT tokens.
- Content and Channel Management: To enable channel creation, video/clip uploads, and visibility settings.
- Personalization: To tailor content recommendations and improve user experience based on location, gender, and engagement data.
- Communication: To send notifications about account activities or updates via email or SMS.
- Payments: To process donations and provide transaction confirmations.
- Analytics and Improvement: To analyze engagement trends, monitor performance, and enhance our Services.
- Community Safety: To moderate content, investigate reports, and enforce community guidelines.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal requests.
4. Content Moderation and Community Guidelines
RelHose is dedicated to fostering a safe and respectful community.
- Reporting: Users can report videos or clips that violate our community guidelines.
- Content Removal: Content deemed inappropriate, harmful, or illegal may be removed.
- Account Actions: Repeat violations may lead to account suspension or termination.
- Legal Disclosure: We may share information with authorities when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
5. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data may be shared only in the following circumstances:

The App is intended for users aged 18 and above.
- Users under 18 are not permitted to create accounts or channels.
- If we discover that a user under 18 has provided personal information, we will promptly delete it.
